 Welcome to our website, kerismataram.com. Our intention to have keris in this website is to keep and preserve our national culture. Furthermore, we inted to offer our collections to keris collectors, and also to those who want to participate in preserving the keris according to your intentions.
Until today, the keris culture still exist as a national cultural heritage that still appreciated and admired by many people, not only because of it's beauty nor it's forging process, but also because the keris embedded with symbol of life philosophy. Those symbol embedded in the keris both physical (can be seen), and non-physical.
The keris also acknowledged/recognized as Indonesian national identity, because it is formed from at least 3 elements; forged in the blazing fire, spirit of nature balance, and the divine spiritual state . The harmonic combinations that create the keris also have similar meaning with our nation (Indonesia) that formed from different tribes, races, beliefs, groups, and then symbolized in "Bhinneka Tunggal Ika", means "Unity in Diversity" in sanskrit language.
Patience, mindful, whole-hearted, and work hard without intentions will provide us better life and give us peaceful mind to preserve, and appreciate the keris as a precious cultural heritage.
